In der Kirche von Long Crendon befindet sich ein prächtiges Grabmal für Sir John Dormer of Dorton KG (+1626), Herr auf Long Crendon Manor, und seine Frau Jane (+1605). Die Inschrift auf der Grabtafel lautet:

Here lyeth buried Sir Jhon Dormer of Dorton Knight, one of the Lordes of this Manor of Crendon, and Dame Jane his wife, one of the daughters of John Gyffard of Chillington, in the countye of Staffard Esquier, which Sir John Dormer has yssue by the sayd Jane fower sones, Robert, John, Gyffard & William, & two daughters, Elizabeth & Dorothye (besydes three sones & fower daughters which died in theyr infancye). Elizabeth maryed John Dynham of Borstall Esquyer, the sayd Jane dyed the nynth daye of September 1605 and ty said Sir Jhon died the 11th of March 1626.
